David Parkinson was born in Liverpool, England, in 1974. A father, partner, and dedicated storyteller, he is the author of THE TALES OF TERROR AND TORMENT, a striking collection of horror and science-fiction novellas, novelettes, and short stories.

His work blends psychological depth with creeping dread, exploring themes of trauma, isolation, and the fragile boundary between reality and nightmare. With a distinctive literary style that balances vivid, poetic description with moments of stark brutality, he crafts unsettling narratives that linger long after the final page.

He is a proud member of both the Dark Veil Society and the Kingdom Horror Collective.

David also writes children's fiction under the pen name Seth Skye.
